Penis shaped pancakes!

I shall let my pictures speak for themselves (they have been taken with my iPad and the purpose was not to take a "good" picture, so don't judge them!)

Ok turns out I have no clue where to find the pictures on my iPad to put on here... I'm starting to think I can only do it from my computer :S oops I'm not good with technology so... let me just say that my penis shaped pancaked were awesome and to dispel any myths: no, you cannot get pregnant from eating penis-shaped pancakes.

I shall now keep trying to figure out how to make this work... but for now some entertaining pictures of penis food

Shall upload my pancake adventure as soon as I can.

I FOUND THEM!!!

Living in the lap-dance of luxury.

First and foremost, I wish to have it known that if, for some reason, all of us Homojournalists were ever to live together, the house would have to be:
  1. Very large, with at least 7 bedrooms for us, guests etc.
  2. Be exquisitely furnished (well, at least my room).
  3. Have all the latest mod-cons.
  4. Be apocalypse proof.
5. Have a battalion of maids, cleaners, gardeners etc.
You see, I think that if we all lived together, it would be an unmitigated disaster, because last time we did something similar (well, me, Mel and Todostrieb, along with Unimportant-To-The-Story-Friend and Cretzal (who you may remember)), the lights in the living room fused, me and Mel almost got savaged by a dog, everyone but me was horrified by Insidious, Todostrieb threw up in a bowl and then proceeded to tip the bowl all over the floor and me and Cretzal broke up, so it wasn't what you could call 100% successful.

And no, I won't lend credence to the idea that having the other Homojournalists there would've improved matters, because then Mel would've been distracted by Eli, and wouldn't have gone on the walk, leaving me to be mauled to death by the angry dog/any number of cows/sheep/natives, Miu would've criticised my cooking if it had a single molecule of capsaicin in it (which it would've), and Rory, well, Rory would've drunk all my vodka.

I needed my vodka.
So, yes. NEVER, EVER IN MY LIFE.

...but here's the house it would have to be if it happened.

Right, let's get this known right off the bat - this will be there:

Only our blog can say we have a signature lamp.
We'd also need a suitably ostentatious way of having the vodka flowing at all times...

This will do nicely.
Let's face it, we're all absolutely filthy. We don't want a house, we want a temple of debauchery. We want a shrine to Bacchus and Aphrodite. And I'm 100% fine with that. I'm just suggesting we make it a classy den of smut.

This, with more nakedness.
I'm into minimalism, so obviously I want it to be all glass and chrome (think about it guys, wipe-clean is all I'm saying). I don't want actual brick walls, I want walls made out of smart glass like in that episode of CSI Miami where the under-age drinker was stabbed to death in a bathroom. I want spiral staircases made of glass. I want men and women in smart, modern suits, ready to remove them at any notice to give us lap-dances. I want my cat, Skye, as our signature pet.

Tell me this isn't a classy cat.
You know, I'm beginning to warm to this idea. Tell you what, I'll agree to live with you guys. As long as I can stay in my own safe, opaque glass box, with my cat, my penis vodka fountain and anyone I deem attractive.

I might let the cat out occasionally.

Yours tentatively,

James.

I have been using one of Cretzal's socks to scent train Skye, so if she ever meets him she'll attack. Progress is startling.

Jelly Willies Review

The Ann Summers Food Review continues, and for me, it was the Jelly willies, a rainbow of gummy penises and peni...

Name of the good 4/10

I suppose as a little known brand and good, it may be a hood idea to have a name that states exactly what the good is “Jelly Willies”…

It wasn't very spreadable :/
However, it is more of a misleading product description than a name, as it is more of a gummy-sweet than what you would imagine Jelly to be. One might even wonder whether it is false advertising, but I will forgive them, because there is gelatine in the sweet.

The definition of Jelly “A sweet, clear, semisolid, somewhat elastic spread or preserve made from fruit juice and sugar boiled to a thick consistency.”

Packaging 3/10

Whose idea was it to put a mutant diseased blob on the front of the box?
It put me off.

Price 7/10

I paid £3.00 for this, and compared to a pack of Haribos costing £1.00(which gives you a far greater quantity of gummy-sweets, and they taste better), I felt a little cheated by this.

However studying business and economics have taught me a few things as to why they can(/may have to) charge a higher price:

1)      The products are differentiated (the jelly-willies are penis shaped), so they don’t have to compete on price.
2)      They are also operating in different markets, Haribos for the sweets and sugar industries we buy them merely to snack and to enjoy the taste, whereas the Jelly-willies operate in the novelty/jokes industry.
3)      Haribos are a much larger company, and produce at a larger scale, so can benefit from economies of scale, so their marginal costs are lower, and so can charge a lower price.
4)      Laws of demand and supply..

So basically, penises are funny, so we buy them.

Looks  8/10

It's not very realistic, but we should give them credit for capturing colour-diversity and the fact that nobody's perfect... just look at all these mutated ones...

What do you think?
Also, they're cute! I would buy a necklace with them on...

Taste 6/10

The sweets come in a variety of colors, each with their own flavorings. The taste of the willies was generally ok, however it  wasn’t as great as harribos or fruits pastels. I liked the red strawberry flavoured ones, but hated the orange and the green ones… But that’s also my preferences with fruit pastels, so I won’t deduct points for that.

The main reason for the low score for the taste, is the texture. Frankly, I was disappointed, and quite put off by them. The penises were too soft. They needed to be harder. Please put more gelatine in it next time..

But then perhaps it was done purposefully? On one hand, it may be more pleasant and tasty for the willies to be chewier, or instead be a hard-boiled willy sweets. But maybe people object to having hard penis sweets? I’ve heard of penis shaped lollies, but not boiled sweets…

Do I see a gap in the market? What do you think guys, should we go for this business opportunity?

Humour 7/10

It was funny at the beginning, asking friends “would you like a penis?” and then flashing my jellied willies, but after a while, the humour of it goes, and I became the sad girl with a box of jellied willies on her nightstand. I still have loads left over, as evident in the pictures date-stamped with today’s date.. (Sorry, I mucked up my camera settings)

Sexiness? 0/10

Food play involving the jellied willies? NO. Just no. I would run. Firstly, there’s a graphic of a green STD penis on the front.
sexyyyyy
Secondly, you’re not supposed to stick sugary stuff “up there”, because you can get a yeast infection. As “cute” as these sweets may appear, they can be nasty.

But Eli, food play isn’t all about sticking food “up there”, you could lick/ eat the penises off each other…

…………..No…………. *shakes head slowly*

Over-all 5/10

Yes, this is a wonderful, brilliant product, for the first few minutes (or seconds) after purchase, or after receiving as a gift. It is funny.
However after that, the humor and novelty of it quickly runs out. I doubt I'd go and buy it again...

Well, after all that work, I've put into this post, I'm tired now, so I shall go relax with my pot of tea and my leftover willies from the photoshoot. ta ta

Giant Chocolate Willy

Eli sends her love and apologies for not being able to post today as she's unwell.

For fear of sounding like a grumpy sod, there are few things that will get me really excited; so few in fact, that I decided to make a list:
  1. Coffee
  2. Chocolate
  3. Season 3 of Sherlock
  4. Alcohol of any sort
  5. Cock.
You can imagine, therefore, just how excited I was when I discovered that Ann Summers sell two of those things in one: a massive chocolate penis.

It looks bigger here than it actually was...
I was rather looking forward to this particular willy, not just because it was made of chocolate, but because it had cost £8 (plus train fare), I was expecting great things from it. I was a little disappointed then, that shortly after unpacking it from the massive box it came in and before the above picture was taken, I had successfully managed to stick my thumb through the base of the scrotum, causing more chocolate than I had imagined to go flying across my room. I managed to save it all before my dog got at it though... The next thing I noticed was the astounding lack of detail; there were some very small, almost indistinguishable flesh-like creases on the ballsack, which I'd broken, and that was it - the only other thing was the huge line going around the whole thing where the manufacturers had clearly stuck the two halves of the penis together... it was a little off putting to be frank.

This is where I start sounding like a bit of a man-slut, but just to give you an idea of just how massive this thing was, it was a tough job fitting the end in my mouth... and my mouth isn't small... ANYWAY moving on.

My next disappointment came some time after I started eating this penis - the ballsack and half of my penis fell off without warning (the chocolate one, not mine...). While it sounds painful, I confess it made it easier to eat - and since I'd managed to put a hole in the bottom of the ballsack I suddenly had a pretend telescope to spy on my neighbours with.

For anybody considering popping out to their local Ann Summers and buying this, there are a few things I'd advise first:
  1. Don't be alarmed by the health warning on the back of the box: "THIS IS AN ADULT PRODUCT." If you are alarmed by it, then you probably shouldn't be buying it.
  2. Don't be confused by the "(UP)" which appears on the receipt next to GIANT CHOCOLATE WILLY - I still have no idea what it means, I think they might also have a down one, but I didn't ask.
  3. Take your time eating your willy. It's a bit sweet and it's a lot to handle in one go... it took me two days to eat it all.
  4. If Chocolate sex is your thing, don't use this as a sex toy, it will break into tiny chocolate fragments at the lightest touch. Unless of course that sort of thing turns you on, in which case seek medical help go for it.
  5. If, like me, you're gay and you're male, don't be disappointed by the lack of items aimed specifically for the homosexual market... it is a ladies underwear shop after all...
In short, this was probably the most interesting (and sexual) £8 I've ever spent, and if you love chocolate and penises, it's an £8 well spent, despite some fatal flaws - the line around the edge has traumatised me for life. As a sweet: 7/10. For the chocolate fetishists who engage in chocolate sex: 1/10. Overall: 5/10

It Burns Like Fire

My review was of “popping candy willies” (link here) I think we’ll all agree on how subtly and tastefully named they are.  Unfortunately, due to my genetic make up, I was too lazy to take photos so instead have included my magnum opus from Microsoft paint and an assortment of clip art as a photorealistic substitute.  I will rank on various aspects out of ten, I suggest mobile readers give up now.

Packaging: 3/10
Honestly, if you gave me ten minutes on Photoshop I could do better, the colour scheme appears to have been devised by James, I mean really, are they marketing these at children? Pink and black akin to their bags might have been a more mature option, rather than a superhero pallet and pop art shading.
Realisticness: 5/10
I’m going to ignore the fact they’re tiny, because obviously they’re supposed to be, and there’s only so much chocolate I can eat. They once again appear to have attempted making sexual organs cute, and pretty much succeeded. This makes it hard to eat them; it’s almost as bad as the poor little Lindt bunnies: if you can eat them without tearing up you’re a monster.
Taste: 2/10
The chocolate was pretty average if a little too sweet, the popping candy not so much, unless you like eating fire.

Burniness: 10/10
The ability of this chocolate to give you second degree burns in your mouth is truly unsurpassed.

Overall I would say: don’t buy. If you want chocolate, go buy a bar of galaxy for half the price, and if you insist on chocolate with popping candy in, buy a popping candy terry’s chocolate orange (heaven in a foil wrapper). However it would make for an amusing gift, for someone you don’t like very much, get them to open it in front of their parents. Give them an earnest look and say in a worried voice “these are the ones you asked for right”?

On a completely unrelated note, can someone confirm this article is joking for me?

"Utterly deceptive twaddlespeak, says I"

When we agreed on this week’s theme my first thought was “Huzzah! I can write about how swinging has destroyed my already rather pathetic and dull love-life.” My second thought was “I need some coffee, then I’ll get started on this thing.” Hilarious phrases and cynical comments quickly passed through my mind as I stood in front of the fridge searching for the milk; I was chuckling to myself without realising – it was only when my mum walked into the kitchen and asked “What’s so funny?” that my creative skills were put to the test. “Oh,” I replied, “I was just thinking of that scene in Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason where she proudly declares she’s in a double relationship with a guy called Ben and a guy called Jerry, and how much I wish that were the case for me too.” That was the best I could come up with on the spot, and I'm still not entirely sure she believes me (wait until next week for disbelief though…)

Coffee made and milk successfully located, I returned to my room and opened up a fresh Word Document, and began writing UTTER BULLSHIT.

And so I promptly deleted what I'd already written.
That is the only phrase I can think of to sum up the twaddle I typed as I realised that I had absolutely no love life whatsoever, and as such have not been subject to swinging, nor been swung, nor swung someone, and if my pathetic love life ever sorts itself out, I don’t think I ever will either. I’m not sure if those phrases are actually the correct ones, but I have a large chocolate somethingorrather (“Spoilers!”) and four (sadly empty from last night) beer bottles next to me, so life’s good.

Then Mel decided she was going to write about swinging from Chandeliers, and I thought “bugger, that would have worked so well, but it’s already been done.” Sadface. I genuinely had no idea what to write, so I decided that I’d leave it until later on in the week 'till the point where I might be harassed (sexually or not) for having left it a little too late. Tuesday came and went, and it took me a while to realise that Mel hadn't actually written about Chandeliers, so IT WAS MINE FOR THE TAKING.
I promise, this was an accidental find, all I did was type in "swinging man chandelier" into Google...
And here we are. I'm writing, or rather, I have written about Chandeliers, and how much fun it is to swing from them. Next time you get your invitation to go to mine and Troy’s Royal Garden Party, be sure to take a moment to jump on the penis shaped chandelier we have in the toilets over in the west wing on the 12th floor, and if you get the chance to swing from it, even better. Just don’t throw up, otherwise you’re cleaning up, and for your own sake, don’t break it or pull it from the ceiling, otherwise you’re paying for a new one. And you won’t be invited next year.

By the way, I was determined to get a Pirates of the Caribbean reference somewhere in this post, I'm not sure why... the title was the best I could do, since none of the pictures Google would give me were what I was after...

Straight and Proud (and by "proud" I mean not ashamed)

All week we have been reading about all the nice perks about being LGBT, as well as some downsides. I reckon it is all a bit silly thinking about it, because it is not like we have a choice over it and wouldn't want this week to be perceived as a way of persuading people into being LGBT. I hope we all realise how ridiculous such an idea would be.

Anyways, having said this, I am here to defend heterosexuality (as if it needs defending); so I made a list of what I believe could be considered perks about being straight.

1- I know what I want.
I may be confused about many things, but my sexuality is not one of them. I like men, always have and - most likely - always will. I didn’t have to go through that weird stage most people in the LGBT community have to go through where everything is confusing and full of "do I like guys or girls? Is the way I am feeling a one-off thing? Am I a freak? Am I ok with this?" ecc. Sure I had the occasional "how do I know I am not lesbian?", but I managed to quickly test and refute that hypothesis. I am happy that at least one thing in my life is certain… or relatively so. By now you must all know about my crazy idea that we are all inherently bisexuals, just to different extents (if not, you seriously need to catch up! Start by clicking here).

2- I know how to get it.
I admit, this is a bit of a silly point, so I will not waste much time on it. What I mean is that there are  plenty of novels and life stories and advice, even from scientists, on how boy-girl interactions work. So I am more informed on how to "lure my victim into my love trap", and stuff like that (have you not read any girly magazines??).

3- Bodies fit perfectly together, like a glove.
It is as if our bodies are modelled to fit together like pieces of a puzzle. All is, of course, adapted for reproduction, but I just love that cosy feeling. I mean, isn't it awkward being face to face when boobs smash against boobs and penises against penises? I say so, but I love hugging my best friend - a girl with massive boobs (no Mel not you) -  and boobs are comfy… Okay, that is not the point, you get what I mean, right? Moving on.

4- Saving the human race.
Yes, yes, slightly melodramatic; but if mankind were to be on the brink of extinction, and sperm banks were destroyed, we can repopulate the Earth. Although I guess technically if you are a lesbian you can still have straight sex, even though you wouldn't enjoy it, and bisexuals have no problems, but let's ignore that just for the sake of argument and because I don't have much to say. Previous posts have been talking about how IVF is a perk (though I fail to understand why)... well straight people can have both ;) And by that I mean we can reproduce both sexually or by IVF. Also, the knowledge that the child contains both parents' genes is a lovely feeling, passing on your genes and stuff and knowing that there is a human being that is both you and your other half. I think it is quite wonderful to recognise each other in that cutie face that somehow resembles both at  the same time. Maybe it gives a feeling of accomplishment? I wouldn't know and have no plans of finding out soon (you can sigh in relief hun).

5- Living in peace.
Of course it is all relative, and I do not mean free from war (let's be realistic here). All I mean is freedom from things such as gay-bashing, or be able to walk hand in hand with your loved one without being stared at judgementally (though, may I just add that straight inter-racial relationships are still stared at v.v). Heterosexuality is considered the norm, and it is perfectly (socially) acceptable. In fact, it is what some societies and the church EXPECT us to be like. But let's not get into an argument about how they are despicable human beings.

6- No expectation to declare our sexuality.
As discussed in week 7, I am referring to "coming out". Everyone is considered to be straight until the individual "comes out" stating differently. Therefore, we do not have to face those awkward conversations with family (apart from "the talk" dreaded by every teenager) and friends.

7- Marriage approved by the Church.
Straight people can get married in the Church and be recognised by everyone. Even if I personally don't see why someone would care for the Church's approval, I understand that there are some religious people in the LGBT community who look for acceptance from their respective authorities or whatever. Anyways, at least we get a choice, which is always nice (who has more choice now, huh?)

8- I can donate blood
Oh yes, to quote one of the questions: "Male donors only; in the last 12 moths have you had oral or anal sex with a man, with or without a condom?" They even ask if you are a prostitute *giggles childishly*.

9- Fewer people to be jealous of :D
If you are in a relationship with a straight person, you have  half the world (more or less) . If he is a straight man, there is no need to be jealous of his male friends (unless you are afraid he might become gay in which case, seriously, stop obsessing). Of course I am only talking in general as I am not a jealous person - when someone is as amazing as me jealousy is a ridiculous concept.

10- More diversity in the relationship.
Just a way of saying how each person plays a different and distinct role in the relationship. Similar to the way, in a gay relationship, one is conceived as the male while the other one is the female. Also, in a gay relationship, and I will just be bold and say it, there can be: wanking, blow jobs, anal. That is all. In a straight relationship, on the other hand, there can be: wanking, fingering, blow jobs, licking, anal, "actual sex" and tit-wank. See? Diversity.

11- The world is our battle field.
What I mean by that is simply that there is no need to go to gay bars or gay web sites. There is a greater chance that a random person you meet and fancy is straight rather than gay. Don't think I need to expand on that, it is really straight forward.

12- Most importantly, I love being straight because like guys and not girls ;)
Which is really all that matters.

So that is my list. If you have anything to add or criticise (I do enjoy constructive criticism), then feel free to comment.

Love,

Miu xx

Pans Labyrinth

My ideal boyfriend or girlfriend. Hummm a tricky one.

Let’s start with girlfriend, that's easy. I guess she’d be a little shorter than me, half Japanese, with sharp teeth and massive eyes. Oh wait that’s Eli. What a coincidence, we’re already dating, how convenient.

No, in all seriousness. My ideal girlfriend. She has either small or large boobs, or in-between ones. She has pale skin or dark skin or red skin or blue skin or green skin. She is short or tall, fat or thin. You get the idea. My ideal girlfriend doesn’t exist. There are features that turn me on and things I admire personality wise. But If I stuck them all together in one person I’m sure it would be horrible. The same goes for an ideal boyfriend.

And now for the awkward confession. Being bisexual puts me in a dilemma. I would say I’m 50/50 girls and guys, depending on the girls and guys in question. Which leaves me with a strange desire to date a transexual. I have an appreciation for vagina and a flat chest, yes, but there’s just something about the combination of male and female, dick and tits that turns me on. Cross dressing is hot. A balance of masculine and feminine even hotter.

Does that make me weird? Maybe. Who cares? But that's exactly why I have trouble with the bisexual label. I’m pretty sure getting confused by gender and transsexuals makes me a pansexual. It makes me sound a little like the fawn from ‘Pans Labyrinth’ so I try to stay away from it.

Lots of love,
Mel, your favourite pan/bi blogging God

Gay-Bashing-Tastic

Ah, the joys of being gay bashed… being called fag, pervert, queer, faggot, gaylord… and irrationally beaten.. it definitely has to be one of the perks of being gay. It’s why so many people choose to be gay or lgbtq: the hating and the abuse.

*sighs*

Mostly, homophobia and extreme homophobia is a result of pure ignorance. Perhaps we should inform them each time they’re mean, pull out your the Joys Of Being Gay A-Z Guide, and follow them relentlessly. This works the best if you can manage to sneak up on them while they’re in the school loo cubicles. Just whisper through the walls…

If that doesn’t work, we need to get onto Plan B: a big school assembly, where we show straight anal sex, gay anal sex, and lesbian strap-on anal sex videos, to show that everything is as grim as each other, why discriminate?

Obviously, a very relevant picture.. I did't just add it here because I liked it...
Although, in hindsight, that might not be as good an idea as I’d imagined when I came up with it. It’ll probably get me expelled, or suspended… then I would be forced to go into the porn industry to earn my livings, or worse, I may end up in McDonalds. I shall have to reconsider.

I, personally, like other homojournalists, haven’t had much experience with gay-bashing. The only person who I’ve remotely been gay-bashed by would be my younger brother, but he stopped when I said to him one day “I think I might be gay…” . Though the stoppage may be because we’re no longer on speaking terms…

My point is, the shouts of “GAY” and “FAGGOT” doesn’t seem to be intentionally a homophobic hate crime, its just as stupid as the shouts of “FUCK OFF”.. the swear words don’t really make sense. As was mentioned earlier, just laughing at them works, although, I sometimes fear that that technique led to me reverse-psychologically-bullying my brother. Personally, I love the word gay, it's a very joyous and colourful word, saying "..and PROUDDD!" in a sing-song voice with a bit of swagger (you know what I mean... if not, you disappoint me), may be an idea, why be ashamed? Questioning it also amuses me.. “what is a faggot? Who is off? Do you think I’d fancy him or her? Maybe I’d fuck her…”.

JennaMarbles youtube vid "How to avoid talking to people you don't want to talk to", will be useful to you guys.. her technique definitely can be applied here.

I haven't really addressed the violence, I don't know whether I can; but I have been midget-bashed before. I was blessed with shortness. I found that the more I fought it (and I was a very violent midget), the more they seemed to get a thrill out of the bullying. Even though I kicked, scratched and punched them, and they bled, they still came back. Perhaps it’s the adrenaline rush? I have no idea. But as soon as I stopped fighting it, and just stood there with a bank look on my face every time, they soon got bored and found their next victim to play with.

CCTV footage :'(

So for petty gay-bashing:

  1. Be in your own world, don’t acknowledge them. Just stand there, and show them no sign of being distressed, or bothered by it
  2. Laugh at them, to yourself.. . but only if you want to annoy them. Be careful. I have had a knife pointed at me once due to this..
  3. Pull a weird face, like in the jennamarbles' vid
And if you’re feeling adventurous, lean forward, whisper in their ear “people tend to go through a really homophobic phase, right before they finally accept they’re gay, and come out”, and proceed to drag them into the nearest closet. They’ll run, or might get to have fun <3

For serious gay-bashing, when these people look REALLY dodgy, just try to get the hell away, as soon as possible.

You don't want to end up like one of the many bashed and dead. Type in "gay-bashing" into google images. Its horrifying.

OMG! Is that a Stereotype I see??

Well hello there special followers (I'm hoping there is at least 1 person following us :P)

We have now reached the much awaited weekend and on this fabulous Saturday morning I am here to discuss the stereotypical subject of stereotypes! I said fabulous cause I could see this tiny ray of sunlight peering through my bedroom shades; little did I know that - England being what it is -  when I opened the shades the sun had been covered by a thick sheet of clouds and it is now raining. Oh English weather… it always lives up to stereotypes don't you think?

Do not fear! I will not fall into the (yet other) stereotype of English people always talking about the weather; let me enlighten you. My name is Miu, no it is not a typical name and no I am not sure it is even real but that is not the point. I am the straight (at least 99% so) token/mascot of this insane group of non-hetero entities. I chose to write on Saturdays because, let it be said, it is the BEST day. I am 18 and NOT English, so what am I? Well that is a very good question that even the most esteemed philosophers or scientists have not been able to answer, so let it just be said that I am… [missing to protect identity]  or more simply: I just AM. To quote my dear friend (and by "friend" I mean "that idiot!") Descartes "Ego sum. Ego existo. (I am. I exist.)" Though I'm not even sure about that!

Now back to the point. Stereotypes. Most people hate them. Why? Because they are a way of passing judgement on a person merely based on ethnicity, gender, culture, religion, colour, height… and many many others. And of course, we insecure little humans just hate to be judged! I mean seriously, everyone around us is judging us in someway or another; even you are judging me in this exact moment while reading this blog. You are deciding whether I am just a crazed teenager or in need of serious medical attention. On the other hand you may also be considering how awesome I am, in which case carry on. The fact is, we do not hate the "nice" stereotypes. I don't see any African man going around saying: "Hey! How dare you say I have a big penis!?" But I do hear Indian/Japanese guys crying out: "its not true! Its not true!"
I once heard someone say (or probably just read it on FB)

"I live three lives:
○ The one I live everyday
○ The one people say I live
○ And the one my parents think I live"

Now I found that quite funny, as I too seem to live three lives - though probably even more. What about you? If it does apply to you then sorry honey, but you are a stereotypical teenager (or human being)! Now why did I used "stereotypical" rather than just "typical"? No matter the definition (thank you James!) they essentially have the same meaning. What makes us hate it so much is the negative connotations that come with it. We don't want to be put in a closed box. It is when people only see the stereotype and refuse to see the real person that it all becomes really annoying. But stereotypes aren't bad in themselves.

I tend to consider myself as...unique. I am not you r typical gal. Yet even I have fallen into a stereotype. I'm sitting at my desk writing on a blog while spinning around in my chair and lovingly wearing my boyfriend's oversized hoodie to comfort me while he is away! Nevertheless, stereotypes exist for a reason. Although most are not accurate, people really tend to behave similarly. It's a fact that most English people have their 5 o'clock tea. Call it stereotype, tradition or culture, in the end there's not much difference.

Either way I still find it amazing when you meet that ONE person who fits a stereotype perfectly! I think they are a rare endangered species that should be protected… or locked up - I mean looked after - in a museum for people to watch!

I think you've had enough of me by now so I will leave you to hopefully start a debate on whether what I said is utter bullshite (not a typo, read it as appropriate) or incredibly clever or perhaps insane. The latter tends to include the other two into one.

Do not despair, I'll be back next week!

Love,

Miu
